Good morning,
Although we lost last Tuesday’s meet, the future is looking bright. ERRA has a lot of year round older swimmers. We are closing in on them each year! Amanda will be posting more about the overall meet soon.
If you haven’t already, don’t forget to declare your swimmers for the Wednesday, July 5 meet at Ashby. Swimmingly ™
Here are some highlights for this coming week –
Practices –
Monday – AM/PM
Tuesday – AM only from 9:15-10:15 (All ages welcome for some laps and fun to celebrate the 4th of July)
Wednesday – AM/Away Swim Meet at Ashby
Thursday – AM/PM
Friday – AM
The meet will be at Ashby beginning at 6PM. We still need volunteers – Swim Meets: July 5, 2023 Swim Meet @ Ashby (signupgenius.com) Volunteering is a part of being a part of the swim family. Remember we are asking each family to volunteer at least twice during the season. After this meet we will be sharing those families that haven’t fulfilled their volunteer duties.

Swimmers need to check in by 5:15PM with Kelly Hill. Our team will warm up from 5:25-5:50PM.
- Ashby Pool Location
- Ashby pool does not close until 5PM, so please don’t arrive too early.
- Still waiting to hear about if there will be a concession stand.
- It is VERY important to put your swimmer(s) three digit number on their body with a sharpie that is easily read and seen. From now on, please place a “B” prior to the number. Make sure it is legible as it is how their time gets recorded.
- Make sure you and your swimmer know which events they are swimming. Clerk of Course will assist them getting in the right lane and heat. However, the swimmer knowing that information helps too.
- Remind your swimmer(s) to stay in the pool until all swimmers are done. Good sportsmanship is something Broadway strives for.
- Make sure to bring extra towels/clothes for the swimmers as it will get cool.
