Good evening,

We are entering our second week of the 2022 season. This week there are a lot of to-dos for parents. 

Items due by Tuesday, June 14

1. Payment for your swimmer(s). We have to have final numbers for insurance purposes. If your swimmer(s) have decided not to swim, please respond to this email ASAP.

2. As mentioned before, swim meets take a lot of volunteers. Please sign up today! This Thursday we will be having a mock meet, this is a perfect time for both you and your swimmers to participate without the crowd and pressure of a normal swim meet. https://www.signupgenius.com/index.cfm?go=s.signup&urlid=9040545adae2da6f49-june2&view=standard

3. Declaring your swimmer(s) status for the mock meet – instructions will be sent tomorrow.

Items due by Wednesday, June 15

1. We are asking that each family stop by the registration table either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday for us to double check all things for your swimmers. 

Thursday Night – Mock Meet/Pictures

We are asking all swimmers to arrive at the pool at 7:10PM. We will begin practice by taking the team picture. We will then begin with little sharks followed by big sharks. While big sharks take their pictures, little sharks will warm up. We are hoping to get the meet underway by 7:45PM. All volunteers, please stay at the pool so we can get everything set up ready to go!

Items due by Friday, June 17

1. Voting for Team T-Shirts. We had 20 submissions. Beginning tomorrow at practice, electronic voting will take place.

2. Stroke & Turn Judge – We are in need of more volunteers to take this training. This is the only volunteer position that training needs to be taken. As of now we only have two Broadway parents that have completed the course. Training will be held this Friday at Godwin Hall, 344 on JMU Campus from 6:30 – 8pm.
