Get Ready for the 2026 Shark Season!

We’re excited to kick off practices on Monday, June 1, with the season running through Friday, July 31. Our end-of-season Champs meet will take place on Saturday, August 1 at the JMU pool.

Swim Requirement for 2026 Season

This year, all swimmers must be able to swim the full length of the pool unassisted. They may use any stroke or combination of strokes—it does not need to be a legal competitive stroke.

For those unsure of their swimmer’s readiness, we will offer a “Test the Waters” night at the pool before the season begins on Tuesday, May 26th, from 7:20 PM to 8:30 PM (Rain date is Thursday, May 28th). Register to attend at: https://tinyurl.com/2026testthewaters
